An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Creative Communities Practitioner to join our ambitious team at The Point & The Berry Theatre

The Role

This role is required to work at The Point, Eastleigh and The Berry, Hedge End as well as external community locations across Eastleigh Borough. Working flexibly to meet the needs of the programme including Saturday youth theatre delivery:

• Deliver engaging Saturday youth theatre sessions for years 1 – 9 that balance skills development with enjoyment and fun and direct the annual Youth Theatre show
• Design and deliver a range of other income generating creative activities to be delivered in the venue and in a range of wider community settings as required. 
• Produce and administrate projects / activities to a high-level including communications, diary management, contracting and invoicing etc in a timely fashion. 
• Develop strong relationships with schools and other partner organisations such as libraries, community groups  

About You

We are looking for an experienced, creative individual to plan and deliver a range of dynamic, high quality and accessible creative activities, including The Point’s Youth Theatre. The ideal candidate will be hard working and flexible and have extensive experience of working in participatory arts.
