Community Company - The Frog Princess: A Festive Adventure

We are looking for performers aged 18+ to join the ensemble of The Frog Princess. This opportunity is ideal for graduate performers, early career artists and those looking to gain experience in a professional production to support their career development in a creative and collaborative environment.

About The Production

The Point's Christmas shows are high-quality, family-friendly productions that reinvent classic tales through original music, puppetry and imaginative storytelling. 

Combining professional performers with local emerging and young talent, they offer an inclusive, heartfelt alternative to pantomime, celebrating creativity, connection and community spirit.

We are casting community performers to play:

The Ensemble

Help bring the magical world of The Frog Princess to life. We're seeking confident performers with a strong performance foundation - whether from amateur, training or early professional settings. You should be adaptable able to multi-role and proficient in acting, singing and movement.

These roles are essential to the production, offering the chance to explore different characters, develop your stage presence and collaborate with professional artists as part of the creative team that makes the story come alive on stage.

Key Information

Commitment

  • Attending all rehearsals and performances
  • Photo consent for show promotions, print, social media etc
  • Attending costume fittings, photo calls etc
  • Acting as a positive advocate for the show and The Point
  • Learning lines, songs by the deadlines set
  • Make own travel arrangements to and from The Point
  • All participants need to adhere to a code of conduct
