Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
- Assisting with get ins and outs
- Rigging and focusing lighting equipment
- Setting up sound equipment
- Operating flying equipment
- Carrying out tasks required by the performance
- Operating lighting and sound cues
- Looking at technical riders, getting prepared for events
- General maintenance of equipment
- Being creative with making props
- Keeping technical stores clean and tidy

Essential qualifications:
GCSE in:
English and Maths (grade 4 or above)
