We have an unmissable opportunity for young performers to be part of Christmas show, Tink! A Festive Neverland Fairytale.

We are really excited to be able to extend the performance opportunities for this year’s Christmas show to involve a young cast of performers as well as a community company aged 18+ who will perform alongside a cast of professional actors.

Young Company Information

Young Company for ages 7 - 15

We are looking for up to 15 young people to make up 2 casts of 8 performers aged 7 – 15 to play:

Michael Darling

One of the Darling children who fly from London to Neverland with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Michael is fun loving and energetic.

Jonathon Darling

One of the Darling children who fly from London to Neverland with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. Jonathon is considered and precise.

Young Fairies

An older Tinkerbell tells her story to a group of young fairies who are in hospital with Tinkerbell.

Lost Children

Peter Pan’s gang who live on Neverland.

These roles will involve lines of dialogue as well as singing and dancing. We are looking for confident young people who are skilled in and enjoy acting, singing and movement.


Key information

  • Participation is on a voluntary basis.
  • The Point will need to apply for a child performance licence and being part of the production means missing some school
  • Performers will be split into 2 teams and share the performances (performances are not allocated until all casting is complete)
  • Chaperones will be employed to look after you during the rehearsals and performances
  • Your child will need to remain on site for the duration of sessions unless you are returning to school.

Commitment

  • Attending all rehearsals and performances
  • Photo consent for show promotions, print, social media etc
  • Attending costume fittings, photo calls etc
  • Acting as a positive advocate for the show and The Point
  • Learning lines, songs by the deadlines set
  • Make own travel arrangements to and from The Point

Auditions will be held on Sunday 29th June (all day)
