Come and join us this festive season!
The Point is looking for three or four vibrant, engaging and a friendly people to make up the cast of this year’s Christmas show, Cinderella’s Wellies.
We are looking for collaborative individuals with strong skills in acting, singing and movement. Some experience of puppeteering would be hugely beneficial. The show will also have a community ensemble of young people aged 16 – 21, so a generosity of spirit is essential.
Auditions will take place at The Point, Eastleigh on Friday 30th August. Deadline to apply is Friday 9th August.
The Point values diversity and wants to celebrate diversity in all its forms. Therefore everyone is welcome and warmly encouraged to audition. If you have any particular access requirements, please get in touch ahead of your audition to make us aware and we will do whatever we can to support you.
We are looking to cast:
Cinderella
Cinderella is now living Happily Ever After Cinderella and has found inner peace and balance tending to the garden at the palace and caring for the community. She is strong, confident and caring.
Playing age 20 - 30
The Fairy Godmother
A strong, quirky character who isn’t afraid to speak her mind or put people in their place. A leader.
Playing age 40+
The Prince
A confident and caring Prince who is the perfect team mate for Cinderella. Practical but a tendency to be emotional at times.

Commitment
Rehearsals: 3rd – 13th December
Tech Week: w/c 16th December
Run: 20th – 31st (no shows Christmas Day or Boxing Day)
Cinderella's Wellies - the show
On-site accommodation is available for the duration of rehearsals and the run. Some additional engagement will be required to support us to promote the show.
