Professional Class

Professional Class is regular dance classes for experienced dancers aged 16+. Whether you're studying, working in the arts, or fancy getting back into dance, these sessions are for you.
This monthly class is held by ZoieLogic Dance Theatre, in partnership with The Point and delivered in collaboration with local dance artists.
Monday 21st July, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Lauren Williams and Reuben Spencer
This class will consist of contemporary exercises and contact work. Please bring lots of positive energy to create a safe space to learn together.
Monday 18th August, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Katie Neal
Katie's Contemporary class blends dynamic movement, floor work, and expressive choreography, guided by clear technical instruction and a focus on safe, anatomical alignment. Her classes foster creativity and confidence, offering a supportive space for dancers to explore and play.
Monday 22nd September, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Claire Benson
Drawing on her extensive career - including nearly a decade with Motionhouse - Claire leads a fast-paced, Limon-inspired contemporary dance class that’s both challenging and energising. Expect a range of exciting exercises that build toward a final sequence, with a strong focus on momentum, flow, and physicality. This class is perfect for dancers ready to work hard and push their technique.
Monday 20th October, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Robyn Holder
Robyn will offer participants ways in which to explore new approaches to contact and partnering work, expanding the possibilities of their dancing. Together we will:
Delve into the fundamental principles of the forms and learn a range of technical skills in and around trust, weight share, being off-balance, momentum, rolling points, lifting and flying.
Explore our relationship to the space around us and to one another; creating heightened awareness which will allow us to dance together, be playful and experience a sense of freedom.
Monday 17th November, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Thom Jones
A mixture of authentic foundation, grooves, variations, and great music. Thom aims to deliver a session of escape to focus on you, your dance journey and to have a giggle with like-minded people.
Monday 15th December, 7:30pm - 8:45pm: Lauren Williams
Lauren's class contains a mixture of conditioning, floor work and classical contemporary technique to warm up the body ready for fun creative phrases.
