Elevate your skills with our monthly professional dance classes, designed for dancers in training, recent graduates, and experienced artists.

Programmed by ZoieLogic Dance Theatre in collaboration with The Point, these classes are led by a rotating cohort of independent practitioners, choreographers, and teachers. Each session offers a chance to train in a dynamic, supportive environment while building connections across the regional dance community.

These sessions are heavily subsidised to strengthen and sustain the local dance ecology, making high-quality training accessible to more artists.

Join us to refine your craft, connect with peers, and take your dance to the next level.

All classes are bookable externally through ZoieLogic Dance Theatre, using the link below:

Upcoming Summer 2026 Classes

Monday 13th July: Toby Newell

Toby Newell is a performer, dance teacher, and dance scientist with a passion for exploring how contemporary dance can fuse with other styles and dynamic qualities.

Toby's class focuses on an exploration-based mix of breaking, rhythms, and contemporary dance. Toby aims to create a space where participants can develop themselves as dancers, challenge their physical limits, and push the boundaries of what the human body can achieve and express.

Monday 17th August: Lara Skilling

Lara Skilling is a freelance dance artist based in the South East of England.

Lara’s class will explore texture, fluidity, flow through shifts in energy and physicality, through structure material and improvisation to unlock full bodied awareness and organic movement.

Autumn 2026 Classes

Monday 21st September: Becky Knight

Becky is a dancer, performer and writer with an interest in how creatives learn, process and retain all forms of information.

Becky’s class focuses on an exploration of audio information, how we listen and how we interpret what we hear. The aim of the class is to explore ways of physically translating how things sound AND to have a ball with some top notch music.

Monday 19th October: Olivia Wallis Jackson

Olivia is a British-German Contemporary Dancer, Choreographer, Photographer & the Artistic Director of Premier Dance Theatre, a company she launched alongside a core team of collaborators in 2024 with funding from Arts Council England.

Olivia’s class gives dancers the opportunity to tune into shape and fluidity. Through a series of release-based phrases that encourage dancers to engage the body fully by travelling and sweeping in and out of the floor, we will explore how movement can find both form and flow.

Monday 16th November: Emma Hill

Emma is a contemporary dance artist based in the South of England. She has previously worked as a performer, choreographer, rehearsal director and facilitator, most recently following her passion for dance science research.

Emma’s work is rooted in contemporary practice, exploring physicality and fluidity. She has a playful approach to movement and enjoys playing with dynamics and floor work.

Monday 21st December: Katie Neal

Katie is a Dance Artist and teacher based in Bournemouth. She trained at London Contemporary Dance School, the Centre for Advanced Training and The Royal Ballet School. She is an experienced dance educator and currently works as a Visiting Lecturer at Arts University Bournemouth and Artistic Director of Coast Youth Dance Company at Pavilion Dance South West, alongside teaching contemporary, ballet, and yoga across professional and community settings.

Katie’s class is a fast-paced contemporary technique class that challenges dancers to move with clarity, control, and intention. The class focuses on travelling through space with dynamic movement, exploring fluid transitions, strong technical foundations, with a deep connection to musicality. Dancers are encouraged to push their physicality, refine their movement quality, and develop expressive performance within an energetic and supportive environment.
