Writing Course
Spring 2025 Term Dates & Times:
Mondays, 7pm - 8.30pm
Term starts 6th January 2025 and runs until 31st March
No session during half term (Monday 17th February)
This is an all-ability Creative Writing workshop for those who want to explore the world of writing fiction/non-fiction.
Led by our expert tutor and writer Matt Elphick, you’ll be exposed to key concepts and ideas such as characterisation, show vs tell, drafting and rewriting, point of view, and many more. Sessions will feature writing tasks and workshops where you will give and receive feedback on your work in a supportive community of fellow writers.
There is no expectation that you have written creatively before, and the tasks undertaken will generate pieces for you to workshop. All you need to bring is your curiosity, a willingness to share your writing, and something to write with!
