Summer Classes at The Point
Join us in our Dance Studio, as we continue a special summer programme of classes!
This summer a number of our regular term time classes will continue throughout July and Autumn on a pay as you go basis - perfect for class regulars who would like to continue dancing through these months or for those looking to try something new before signing up for a full term in the autumn.
These classes will run alongside a selection of special one-off summer holiday events.

Tai Chi
Tuesday 28th July, Monday 3rd & 17th August, 3.45pm-4.45pm
For ages 18+
These sessions will focus on developing muscle strength, coordination and balance as well as boosting mental wellbeing.
Circus Skills
Tuesday 28th July 10am & 11am & Thursday 20th August 1pm & 2pm
For ages 11-16 years
As part of Eastleigh Active, these Circus Skills Sessions introduce Aerial Hoop and Aerial Sling, both safely rigged from the ceiling for an authentic aerial experience. Participants can also try the Lollipop Lyra, mounted on a portable X-Stage base that is assembled on site and easily dismantled, making it accessible and perfect for all levels.
Make Play in Three Days
Tuesday 4th - Thursday 6th August, 9.30am-4pm: for ages 7-10 years
Tuesday 25th - Thursday 27th August, 9.30am-4pm: for ages 11-15 years
Over three exciting days, participants will create, rehearse, and perform a short play – building new skills and having loads of fun!
Steady & Strong
Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August, 11.15am - 12.15pm
Physical activity, including strength and balance, is vital for healthy ageing. Designed and delivered by experts, these classes are all about boosting your strength and balance. Try out these session on a pay-as-you-go basis before booking for the autumn term.
Adult Tap
Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August, 12.15pm - 1.15pm
A friendly, welcoming class for those beginning to tap dance, or with some basic tap knowledge. Try out these session on a pay-as-you-go basis before booking for the autumn term.
Adult Modern Dance
Thursday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th August, 1.30pm - 2.30pm
For adults who'd like to get more active. Move to music, meet new people and have fun! Try out these session on a pay-as-you-go basis before booking for the autumn term.
Dance For Parkinson's
Thursday 13th, 20th & 27th August, 1.30pm - 3pm
A social and uplifting movement class designed specifically for the symptoms of Parkinson’s. Expect a relaxed session with upbeat music, good company and targeted movement activities to improve general mobility.
Summer Moves & Moments
Friday 7th & 28th August, 10am-12pm
For adults with learning disabilities, age 18+
Relaxed, friendly summer workshops. Together we’ll enjoy dance, drama, and creative activities that build confidence, connection, and joy.

We want our building and everything we do to be as inclusive as possible and are committed to finding ways to allow all our audiences to enjoy their visit to The Point.
The Point is fully wheelchair accessible with flat level access to our Box Office and all performance spaces. There is a lift to our meeting room and wheelchair accessible seating areas. We have three accessible toilets.
There is limited disabled parking available outside our entrance, or alternatively disabled parking is widely available at any of the town centre's car parks.

The Point does not have a public car park. We recommend using town centre parking in Eastleigh, a short walk away. Parking charges apply from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday—please check before you arrive. We suggest using the Mitchell Road or Swan Centre long-stay car parks.
