Multi Arts Session

Yoga For All
Saturday 2nd & 16th August, 9.30am – 10.30am
Yoga For All run by Laura from Pura Vida Wellbeing, is a mixed ability class, offering participants the chance to wake up and shake up on Saturday mornings.
Release any tensions you may be holding on to, breathe into the areas in the body that could use some extra attention. Adjust your mindset, and leave with a spring in your step.

Make a Play in Three Days
Monday 4th - Wednesday 6th August, 9.30am - 3.30pm
For Years 3 – 6 (ages 7-10)

Three days. One play. Endless fun!
This high-energy workshop is perfect for primary-aged children who love drama, storytelling, and working as part of a team. Over three exciting days, participants will create, rehearse, and perform a short play – building new skills and having loads of fun! With a focus on confidence, creativity, and collaboration, the workshop ends with a performance for family and friends. No experience necessary – just bring your imagination!

Calling all young performers!
Join us for three inspiring days of theatre-making designed especially for secondary school students. You’ll work with our director to develop a short play from start to finish – building acting skills, confidence, and creativity. Whether you’re passionate about drama or just curious to give it a go, this workshop is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, grow, and perform in a supportive, exciting environment. Friends and family are welcome to attend a sharing at the end!

Tai Chi

These sessions focus on developing muscle strength, coordination and balance, as well as boosting mental wellbeing in a gentle, friendly, welcoming class.

A friendly and relaxed session with upbeat music, good company and targeted movement activities to improve general mobility. Open to all with Parkinson’s and their carers.

Musical Theatre Dance Taster Class
Wednesday 13th August, 4.45pm – 5.45pm
For ages 8–14
Love musicals? Love to move? This Musical Theatre Dance Taster is the perfect opportunity for young performers aged 8–14 to explore storytelling through movement. In this energetic and fun session, participants will learn choreography inspired by hit musicals, developing rhythm, coordination, and performance skills in a friendly and encouraging environment. Whether you're completely new to dance or already have some experience, this class is a brilliant way to build confidence and enjoy the joy of dance!

This dynamic Musical Theatre Dance session is designed for adults with some dance experience who want to try something new, reignite their passion for dance, or develop their movement skills for performance. You’ll explore expressive choreography inspired by iconic musicals, with a focus on style, storytelling, and musicality. Whether you're returning to dance, expanding your skills as a performer, or simply looking to move and connect in a welcoming space – this session is a great way to challenge yourself and have fun.

Devised Theatre Workshop

For Ages: 14-18
In this dynamic workshop, young performers will learn how to build a scene from the ground up using their own ideas, voices, and creativity.
Through games, group work, and practical exercises, participants will explore the core skills of devising: collaboration, storytelling, and performance, whilst gaining confidence in creating original theatre.

We want our building and everything we do to be as inclusive as possible and are committed to finding ways to allow all our audiences to enjoy their visit to The Point.
The Point is fully wheelchair accessible with flat level access to our Box Office and all performance spaces. There is a lift to our meeting room and wheelchair accessible seating areas. We have three accessible toilets.
There is limited disabled parking available outside our entrance, or alternatively disabled parking is widely available at any of the town centre's car parks.

Located in our inviting foyer, The Point Café Bar offers a diverse daily menu featuring delectable lunches, tempting cakes, and a selection of coffees and drinks. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and convenient power sockets in our cosy seating area—ideal for catching up on work or socialising with friends. Before your performance, feel free to grab a refreshing drink or a delicious ice cream to enjoy in our foyer or family-friendly atrium.

The Point does not have a public car park. We recommend using town centre parking in Eastleigh, a short walk away. Parking charges apply from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday—please check before you arrive. We suggest using the Mitchell Road or Swan Centre long-stay car parks.
