The Point, Eastleigh is launching a new suite of opportunities for creatives living and making work in Eastleigh and the surrounding areas.
Create Now features a range of benefits including space in kind and subsidised time in the venue’s Creation Space; small scale commissions and seed funding, informal get-togethers for creatives to connect with other like-minded individuals; and scratch and work-in-progress nights, where artists can share their work.
As part of the launch of Create Now, The Point is looking for artists to apply for their 2026 Create Now Residencies which offer free making space for artists, no strings attached.
Artists and companies at any stage of their process, making whatever work is important to them, are invited to apply for a residency, with a select number of dates in February and March 2026.
We are excited to launch Create Now, a fresh set of ways to support the vibrant network of artists living and working locally. We hope that by providing more access to space, opportunities to share work and to connect with other artists, we can support creativity to flourish in our venues and beyond.
