The Point is fully wheelchair accessible with flat level access to our Box Office and all performance spaces. There is a lift to our meeting room and wheelchair accessible seating areas.
We have three accessible toilets.
Walking sticks, crutches and walking aids can be taken into any of our performance spaces. We also have spaces for mobility vehicles.

AROUND THE POINT THEATRE
Around the Berry Theatre
The Berry Theatre is fully wheelchair accessible with flat level access to our Box Office, bar and theatre.
We have two accessible toilets. One on the lower level with baby changing facilities and the other on our upper level with a lift for access. The lift can provide access to the upper seating level.

Hearing Assistance
We offer two different types of infra-red hearing systems for enhanced hearing:
- A headset for anyone who would like the sound on stage amplified
- A necklace set to amplify sound on stage for those people who already wear a hearing aid
Assistance Dogs
Hearing and guide dogs are welcome in all our spaces, please let our Box Office know when booking so we can make sure both you and your dog are comfy.
Theatre Buddies
Our Theatre Buddies are here to support you if don’t feel able, or comfortable coming to the theatre on your own.

Relaxed Performances
Our relaxed performances create a warm welcome to people who might normally find it difficult attending the theatre. This can include: people with learning disabilities, movement disorders, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, other sensory, communication or neurological conditions, or those with young children or babies. At our relaxed performances you'll find:
- Extra staff help with seating and access around the theatre
- Our staff and the actors will have a relaxed attitude to noise (both voluntary and involuntary)
- The lighting will be a little higher during the performance
- You can leave the auditorium at any point with staff to help you leave safely
- No blackouts or strobe lighting
- Additional wheelchair spaces
